Over the the last few years managers, label people, etc have said that we need to “connect” to our fans more.Rather than doing the typical “video updates” we thought of something special that we could do to “connect”, and so that fans could get to know us (TDS) a little bit more. So here it goes!… Anyone who buys something from our online store this weekend will also receive a burned mix CD of songs that are our personal favorites, songs that have inspired us, or songs that we simply just think need to be more well known. Every CD will be different from the last and will come with a hand written track listing by a member of The Dangerous Summer. Hope this is something you enjoy! We wanted to let you know that we are now signed with Hopeless Records. We are so stoked to be a part of the Hopeless family, everyone has been super welcoming. We have already started planning for the upcoming year, it should be a huge one for us as a band. We just entered the studio with Paul Leavitt to finish up our EP "If You Could Only Keep Me Alive." Thank you to every single one of you who has supported us up to this point.

After numerous line-up and name changes, The Dangerous Summer emerged in August of 2006. The high school quartet hit the studio in December of 2006 with producer Paul Leavitt (Dashboard Confessional, Senses Fail, All Time Low). They self-released their debut EP, "There Is No Such Thing As Science" in January of 2007. Shortly after it's release, the EP gained quite a buzz from the support of hometown friends, All Time Low and a devoted online fanbase. The Dangerous Summer finished out their senior year of high school touring whenever class let out, which helped them land opening gigs for Cartel, Hit The Lights and Valencia.
